Mooli is 32 years old weaver from Aaspura village of Rajasthan. She is a mother of two girls and one boy, both of them are school goers and quite often support their mother by suggesting what to weave next. She places a huge emphasis on education for her daughters and has set an example of how a woman in rural India can create beauty by seizing the opportunity and working hard.
Dwarka
Derived from Indian mythologies, the rug Dwarka is a creative take on the birthplace of Lord Krishna which is Dwarka. Mooli weaved flute for her dearest Krishna and also weaved a football for him to play. To beautify Lord’s land, she went on to weave colorful palm leaves, mountains and flowers.
